What is AI Connect?

AI Connect links your TimeTrakGO data to AI assistants like Claude so you can query your workforce in plain language.

AI Connect is a TimeTrakGO feature that links your timekeeping data to AI assistants like Claude. Once connected, you can ask questions about your workforce in plain language and get real answers from your actual time records.

No exports. No pivot tables. No waiting on reports.

Instead of logging into TimeTrakGO and clicking through screens to find who clocked in late this week, you open your AI assistant and ask. AI Connect pulls the answer directly from your live data.

What AI Connect Does

AI Connect uses the Model Context Protocol (MCP), an open standard that lets AI assistants communicate securely with external software. TimeTrakGO exposes 20 tools through this protocol, covering:

Employee data Look up employees, roles, and groups.

Hours and payroll summaries Get worked hours, overtime, and totals by employee or department.

Punches Review clock-in and clock-out records.

Schedules Check who is scheduled and when.

Exceptions Find missed punches, early departures, and attendance issues.

Time off Review PTO balances and approve time-off requests.

Workforce status See who is currently clocked in.
