Allowing Location Access on Apple iOS

Grant the TimeTrakGO mobile app permission to use your location on an iPhone or iPad.

TimeTrakGO records your GPS location at the moment you punch. For that to work on an iOS device, Location Services must be turned on and the TimeTrakGO Mobile app must have permission to use it.

Quick Summary

Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services.
Make sure that Location Services is on.
Scroll down to find the app.
Tap the app and select an option — see Location Options Explained below.

Step 1 Open Location Services

Go to Settings.

Then Privacy & Security.

Then Location Services.

Step 2 Select TimeTrakGO Mobile

Scroll down and select TimeTrakGO Mobile.

Step 3 Allow Access and Precise Location

Make sure you allow access While Using the App as well as Precise Location.

Location Options Explained

Never

Prevents access to Location Services information.

Ask Next Time Or When I Share

This allows you to choose Always While Using App, Allow Once, or Don't Allow.

While Using the App

Allows access to Location Services only when the app or one of its features is visible on screen. If an app is set to While Using the App, you might see your status bar turn blue with a message that an app is actively using your location.

Always

Allows access to your location even when the app is in the background.
