TimeTrakGO Update Announcement (October 2024 | v2.0.538)

The October 2024 update is packed with enhancements, including a brand-new feature manager, a major upgrade to our scheduled holidays feature, and a streamlined process for creating employee schedules.

Enjoy a faster and more efficient way to manage your team's time.

Redesigned Feature Manager

The feature manager has undergone a complete overhaul, featuring intuitive feature groups that make it easy to find the tools you need. New groups include System options, Clocking options, and PTO options.

Additionally, feature names have been refined for greater clarity and precision.


New Employee Scheduling Feature
Employee scheduling has been relocated from company settings to the feature manager for improved organization. We've not only moved schedules but also revamped the creation process.

Our new quick-add options streamline schedule creation, and you can now directly assign new schedules to employees upon creation.



 

Scheduled Holidays Enhancement

The scheduled holidays feature has undergone a major overhaul. You can now create multiple holiday rules, including part-time and full-time rules with customizable dates and hours.

Additionally, new configuration options allow you to set minimum seniority requirements and worked hours rules for holiday.
 

Improved Meal Break Icon
The meal break icon, previously a coffee cup, has been updated to a knife and fork for improved clarity. This change paves the way for future enhancements, such as paid rest breaks, and is visible on all employee time clock options
 

Additional Improvements. 

  • GPS Map Markers: Corrected an issue that occasionally prevented map markers from appearing in certain instances.
  • Schedule Editing: Corrected an issue that prevented user schedules from being editing on a touch-screen device such as an iPad.
  • System Pay Codes: System pay codes have been removed from company settings and can now be managed from within the Pay Codes feature.


TimeTrakGO Update Announcement (August 2024 | v2.0.530)

The August 2024 update introduces several exciting enhancements, including a new pay policy feature and user invitation email. 

The pay policy feature allows you to configure multiple overtime and break rules for hourly employees, along with new salary options that automatically generate hours for both exempt and non-exempt salaried employees.
Hourly Pay Policies 
The Hourly Pay Policy is now home for the default overtime and meal break settings in TimeTrakGO. Create multiple pay policies to accommodate various overtime rules or meal break durations without relying on employee schedules.

For example, you can easily establish separate policies for 30-minute and 60-minute automatic meal breaks.


New Salary Pay Policy Options
Pay policies can be tailored for both salary exempt and non-exempt employees to ensure accurate payroll processing with current and upcoming labor regulations.

Key Benefits:
  • Guaranteed 40-Hour Minimum: Automatically generating a minimum of 40 hours for both salary and non-exempt employees.
  • Clocked vs. Non-Clocked Hours: Identify clocked versus non-clocked hours for your salary-exempt employees.
  • Precise Overtime Calculation: Accurately calculate overtime for non-exempt employees, minimizing errors and ensuring fair compensation.
  • Enhanced Payroll Accuracy: Reduce payroll discrepancies and save time with automated time and labor data.

Pay Policy User Settings
Pay policies can be assigned to individual users within the System Information section of their profile.

New Pay Code Setting
We've enhanced pay code functionality by introducing a new "accumulate towards overtime" setting. This allows you adjust which pay codes contribute to overtime, just like regular worked hours.

Improved User Invitation Email
We have significantly enhanced the user invitation email! New users will now receive clear, step-by-step guidance on setting their password and accessing TimeTrakGO. Whether you prefer our mobile app or web-based platform for clocking in (ideal for computer-based employees and supervisors), we've got you covered.

The improved email includes a direct link to download the mobile app from the app store and explicitly states the system URL for web access.

 


Additional Improvements

  • Annual Plan Renewal Reminder: We've added an annual renewal reminder email sent 7 days prior to the automatic plan renewal.
  • Improved Editing: Time changes made using the mouse scroll wheel were not always saving.
  • Mobile App: Updated our mobile app to meet the Google Play Store target API requirements.


TimeTrakGO Update Announcement (June 2024 | v2.0.518)

This June 2024 update includes several new usability improvements for TimeTrakGO including a few changes to the Time and Hours section and PTO Accruals.

Improved Time Card Editing with Sticky Headers and Additional Detail
Sticky Headers: We've improved time card editing in TimeTrakGO to make it easier to use! Now, when you're scrolling through timesheets in group mode, dates will stay visible with "Sticky" headers. This means you'll always know which day you're looking at.

Enhanced Detail: We've also added daily Hours and Minutes (ex. 5h 15m) to each pay date header in Time and Hours as well as GO Clock.  The new Hours and Minutes (ex. 5h 15m) will display to the right of the current Decimal Total (ex. 5.25).


Improved PTO Accruals
We've made it easier to track your PTO accruals in TimeTrakGO, especially for anniversary-based plans. This update helps identify the active accrual year, preventing accidental editing of the wrong benefit year. It automatically locks non-current accrual periods, ensuring clear and accurate PTO tracking.

Additional Improvements

  • Duplicate Punch Warning: We've resolved an issue with duplicate punch warnings.
  • Improved Touch-Screen Editing: Finally, we made it easier to add and edit entries directly on your iPad or Android tablet with a simpler “Add to Time Card” option.
  • Prevent Negatives: Corrected an issue that could prevent a PTO request of a pay code where prevent negatives was set to no.
  • Hourly PTO Accruals: We've addressed a concern where worked hours incorrectly accumulated during months with 0.00 hours where to be earned.
  • iPad Time Picker: An issue that prevented time input from an iPad’s “Time Picker” has been fixed.

This May 2024 update includes several new usability improvements for TimeTrakGO including a new PTO accruals report, easier access to accrual details, and more!

Improved Time Card Editing


Enhanced PTO Accrual Details
We've made it easier to see all the details behind your team's PTO. Now, a simple icon next to each record flags when more information is available. Click to view a running total of earned, taken, and committed time throughout the benefit year. This enhanced transparency is particularly useful for plans that accrue PTO based on hours worked.

These details are available from within Time and Hours by clicking the Available PTO insight block or from within the PTO Accruals feature settings.



Additional Improvements

  • Improved Group Management -We've resolved an issue that previously prevented deleting groups when necessary.
  • Smother Log-offs - A pesky bug that caused a warning message to linger during logout has been squashed.
  • Enhanced Kiosk Accuracy - We've addressed a concern where users might clock in multiple times on the web-based kiosk due to slow internet connections
  • Mobile App Refinement - An issue that allowed accidental duplicate time-off requests on the mobile app has been fixed.

This February 2024 update includes the highly anticipated feature of Automatic PTO Accrual Earnings.

Automatic PTO Accrual Earnings
Say goodbye to manual calculations! Our new automatic PTO accrual feature takes the hassle out of tracking earned and accrued time, ensuring accuracy and consistency for both employees and HR teams.

Choose from various rules like yearly, monthly, pay period, hourly, and hourly percentage to seamlessly align with your company policies, including new state sick leave laws or vacation hours that automatically increase with length-of-service.



Example PTO Calculations

  • Yearly: Earn 24 hours of Sick leave per year.
  • Yearly Anniversary: Get 40, 80, or 120 hours of Vacation based on service, awarded annually on your anniversary date.
  • Monthly: Earn 4 hours of Sick leave each month.
  • Pay Period: Accrue 8 hours of Vacation each pay period (weekly, bi-weekly, etc.).
  • Hourly: Receive 1 hour of Sick leave for every 40 hours worked.
  • Hourly Percentage: Earn 2.5% of your worked hours as Vacation time.


New Feature to Prevent Negative PTO Balances
We've added a safety net to prevent negative PTO balances. The system now stops time-off requests exceeding available balances and restricts manual edits that could cause overdrawing. Enjoy peace of mind knowing your PTO tracking is always accurate and compliant.
