Restrict which devices and locations employees can use to clock in or out.
Browser Authorization is a free feature that prevents unauthorized devices from clocking employees in or out. You can restrict clocking to specific computers, IP addresses, or a single trusted employee.
Go to the Feature Manager. Under Clocking Options, turn on the toggle for Browser Authorization.
Click Settings to open the Browser Authorization page, where you manage the web browsers allowed to use GO Clock and the Browser Based Time Clock kiosk. All new users will need to request authorization if their web browser or location hasn't already been approved.
New requests appear on the Pending tab. Each request shows the clock it came from, the requesting user, the date and time, the public IP address, and the location if one is available. Click Deny, or click Approve and choose one of these options:
Note: A web browser is the browser used to open GO Clock or the kiosk. The IP is the public IP address of that location. Location data may be approximate on devices without GPS, such as an office or home computer.

Approved requests move to the Approved tab. To remove access, click Revoke. Denied requests appear on the Denied tab.

Turn on Learning Mode under Global Settings on the Browser Authorization page. Learning Mode records where employees are clocking in or out from without preventing them from clocking in or out. Once disabled, all recent web browsers used to clock in and out appear on the Pending tab for approval, and employees will no longer be able to clock in or out until they're approved.
To start over, click Reset All Authorizations under Master Reset, then click Yes, Reset Everything to confirm.

Warning: A reset is permanent. It removes all pending requests and all approved and denied web browsers, and every web browser must request authorization again the next time it connects.
