Lock the Kiosk App on Screen (iPad Guided Access)

Use Guided Access to keep the Kiosk App on screen.

Guided Access keeps an iPad locked to a single app. Use it with the TimeTrakGO Kiosk App so employees can't leave the time clock.

Step 1 Set Up Guided Access

  1. Go to Settings > Accessibility, then turn on Guided Access.
  2. Tap Passcode Settings, then tap Set Guided Access Passcode.
  3. Enter a passcode, then re-enter it. You can also turn on Face ID or Touch ID as a way to end a Guided Access session.

Step 2 Start a Guided Access Session

  1. Open the TimeTrakGO Kiosk App.
  2. On an iPad with Face ID or a top button, triple-click the top button. On an iPad with a Home button, triple-click the Home button.
  3. If you want parts of the screen to stop responding to touch, circle those areas with one finger. You can move or resize a circle, or tap the X to remove it.
  4. Tap Guided Access, then tap Start.

Tip: You can also open the Kiosk App and tell Siri "Turn on Guided Access."
