With our feature called Time Off Center, employees can now request time off such as PTO, Sick, or Vacation time. Once requested, supervisors or admins will have the ability to approve or deny the request.
Approving or denying these pending requests takes only seconds. Once approved, hours are inserted into the employee timecard with details of the request and approval.
When there are pending requests in the system, the left menu item called Time Off Center will be highlighted with a label called "Pending!". To approve time off requests, you must click on the Time Off Center icon.
Once in the time off center, there are 2 ways of approving to denying pending requests.
Option #1 for approving time-off requests - review all button
Click on the Review All Button within the Time Off Center, located in the upper right corner. From this window, you can approve or deny requests as well as view previously approved or denied requests.
Option #2 for approving time-off requests - clicking the request on the calendar
Alternatively, admins and supervisors can just click on a request from the calendar. When clicking on an item from the calendar, it opens a similar approval window for just that one request.
Once approved, the hours will appear on the employee time cards within the Time and Hours section.
The comment will include details of the request and approval process.
