TimeTrakGO Standard Export Configuration
Configure the TimeTrakGO Standard Export for payroll services without a direct integration.
The TimeTrakGO Standard Export creates a basic CSV file that many payroll services can accept, even without a direct integration. Most payroll services can map a time clock import from this type of CSV file.
Plan required: Payroll integrations are an advanced TimeTrakGO feature, available on the Plus plan or higher. Free setup and configuration assistance is available from our customer care team.
Step 1 Enable the Payroll Integrations Feature
- Go to Feature Manager.
- Find the Integrations feature under System Options.
Depending on your current plan, you will see either a Try Plan or an Activate Plan button.
Once activated, you will be asked to enable the Pass to Payroll option for all users. A Yes response is recommended. If certain employees should not be sent to payroll, such as temporary employees paid through a temp agency or salaried employees, this can be disabled individually in the Users section.
Step 2 Activate the TimeTrakGO Standard Export Integration
Choose Activate next to the payroll integration titled "TimeTrakGO Standard Export".
Step 3 Configure Settings
The TimeTrakGO Standard Export integration has settings for the export file name, the preferred layout, date options, group, and header.
Step 4 Map Pay Codes
This section lets you map TimeTrakGO Pay Codes to the TimeTrakGO Standard Export pay codes. If there is a TimeTrakGO Pay Code you want to leave out of the integration, disable its Pass to Payroll setting.
Step 5 Export Hours to TimeTrakGO Standard Export
You are now ready to export hours to TimeTrakGO Standard Export. Once configured, the export file is available from the TimeTrakGO Dashboard, in the Employee Hours section. Click Export Options, then choose TTGO Standard. This downloads a file you can upload into many payroll services that accept a simple CSV file.
